Haverhill Community Sixth Form

Geography

Geography is a broad and brilliant discipline. Whether it’s the wild weather that inspires you, or maybe sustainable urban design; this course will inspire you!

In a dynamic and ever evolving world, there is a multitude of career opportunities out there for you with a geography degree. Geography graduates are highly regarded by employers due to the wide range of transferrable skills and the global perspective held by geographers.

This course offers a perfect balance of the human and physical aspects of the discipline and encourages learners to appreciate the synoptic links between the human and physical worlds.

We are a forward-facing discipline – what will the world look like in 20 years? Finite resources will expire in 30 years, climate change will be immutable and globalisation could lead to further pandemics.

There is some much to question, research and analyse within A-level Geography.
